What an inspiring group of kids!  The Grade 5 classes of the Dr. George Johnson Middle School want to help the local Gimli Animal Shelter, among other organizations in need.

Between April and May 2006, K-Kids members got to the Animal Shelter on Tuesdays to groom, walk and care for the stray dogs and cats currently held at the Shelter in the Industrial Park.

Fundraising

In March 2007, the K-Kids sold extra fundraising chocolate bars and made a tidy sum of $500, which they in turn donated to the Gimli Animal Shelter.  Great job K-Kids!
