Interlake Spectator — The Kiwanis Club of Gimli cut the ribbon to officially open a new play structure at the Pavilion Park in Gimli July 7.

The new play structure, donated by the Kiwanis Club and installed early this summer at the Fourth Ave. park, was given the thumbs up by young You Inc. day-campers who were on-hand for the ceremony.

While the You Inc. campers, identified by their blue and red t-shirts, scrambled up and down the high-tech structure, members of the Kiwanis Club provided a lunch-time barbeque and refreshments for all.

You Inc. spokesperson Helen Roos thanked the Kiwanis for its generosity in providing the new structure as well as the municipal and provincial governments for their ongoing support of You Inc’s day-camp programming.
