January 21 is the 90th anniversary of Kiwanis International, a thriving organization of service-minded men and women who respond to the unique needs of their communities and address worldwide issues by ‘Serving the Children of the World’.

Gimli is blessed to have an outstanding Kiwanis Club that is doing exemplary work with projects such as the New Horizons Centre, Camp Manitou, highway cleanup, playground equipment and support to Betel Home among many others.

Kiwanis is about building communities and Gimli can be proud of the accomplishments of its Kiwanis Club.

At this Anniversary, I congratulate President Philip Laing, all the Kiwanis of Gimli and District and the great community that sustains them.
